ASAD — the lion.  But not any lion.  This is the rare black lion and warrior.  This purple skinned warrior rides wielding two swords, carrying a flagstaff in the tradition of the Japanese samurai.  But on that staff, three West African Adinkra symbols.   East and West converging on a single figure.  The swords, the symbols, the stance.  A hand-drawn, digitally painted original from AMNI BLACK — the kind of image that had to be made because it was never made before.
