Fudo Myo - Mandala

Fudo Myō-ō, the Buddha Protector, the Defender of Righteousness, the Immovable King of Discernment.  He has Dark blue-Black skin and stands firm with his flaming sword raised to cut through ignorance and shackles to bind and restrain all evil. His unmovable stance represents an unwavering moral code that restores one's self discipline.  Fudo Myoo's origins began in India, where he is known as Akala.

Inspired by AMNI BLACK’s research into the dark-skinned protector figures within the world’s religious traditions, this representation was hand-drawn and digitally painted by Eod under the artistic direction of Basama and features the Vajra Realm Mandala as its background.
